Thank You To Our Summer Program Sponsors!

As the Summer Learning Program comes to a close, we want to thank the many people and organizations that helped make everything possible this year. We are very grateful for our incredible sponsors, including:

• Passumpsic Bank for donating $2,000 to cover the cost of giving every child who completes the Summer Reading Challenge a free book from Green Mountain Books & Prints. Similarly, thank you to Kim Crady-Smith for giving us a generous 25 percent discount on all orders from her store.
• Union Bank for sponsoring the Pirate Man Dan performance last month.
• Community National Bank for sponsoring the VINS program.
• The Burklyn Arts Council for sponsoring part of the No Strings Marionette Company performance.
• The Vermont Department of Libraries (VTLIB) for a $350 Summer Programming Grant.
• The Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) for a free book giveaway and storytelling event.

We also owe a special shout out to Subway and Manager Shawna Lee Williams for their support of our Summer Reading Program. They generously provided 300 coupons for free 6-inch subs for every child who completed the program.
