Want to access library books and audio from home? The Libby App provides access to our online collection of e-books and downloadable audiobooks. It’s free and easy to set up on your smartphone. Kanopy is available again at the library! The Friends of the Cobleigh Library, our 501(c)(3) organization, generously agreed to cover the cost of this popular streaming service in 2026, so patrons can now watch films through our Kanopy site at https://cobleighlibrary.kanopy.com/, or in the Kanopy app. If you need any assistance logging into your account, please give us a call and we will gladly walk you through it. 

The Vermont Online Library offers access to thousands of publications. Read newspapers from around the world, take a class online (over 20,000+ options!), watch a car repair video, get tips on writing a resume, find the latest information on health and medicine, or help with homework using one of the databases specifically designed for students.

Vermont Online Library databases

The library is able to offer extensive research through the Vermont Online Library databases and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer these databases available for home use.  There is something for all ages!

Vermont Online Library offers over 8,000 journals and other resources. Professional journals as well as newspapers are available for current events and a variety of other subjects. Opposing Viewpoints is great for high school homework help. Student editions are available for the elementary school child. There is a wealth of health and wellness resources as well.

You can also access the range of Gale Databases, including both Academic and General OneFile for scholarly and general interest magazine articles, the Chilton Library of automotive repair manuals, and many others!
