Please Join Our Summer Learning Program!

Children’s Storytime:
This is a weekly program (for ages 0-6) on Tuesdays at 4pm, Wednesdays at 10:00 am, and a Baby/Toddler Play Group on Fridays at 10 am. It is a fantastic time to borrow books, enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays and rhymes! With a “letter of the day” and a focus on the five early literacy practices, songs, crafts and the opportunity to meet new library friends! Storytime will be held outside during the warm months, or inside at the library, in the children’s room, during cold months and bad weather.
Special Events:
Every second Saturday of the month, the library offers a program called “My Favorite Book,” in which kids can bring a favorite book from home, and then our Youth Librarian (Garrett Brinton) will read it to the group. Children also get to pick out a new book to keep! We also host many fun and interactive programs for families every few weeks, so please check our calendar of events to see what we are offering this month. For example, in December of last year, we were fortunate enough to have Techstorm 2523, the Saint Johnsbury Academy Robotics Team, run a STEM workshop at the library, where kids were able to make marshmallow catapults, tin-foil boats, bristle bots, and more!
We also love giving away books and other cool items! Ask us if we have anything available today for your family to take home.
