The Library offers GED pretesting and tutoring and GED tests are available on the first three Tuesday mornings of each month from 9:30 am to 12 Noon. Call the Library at 626-5475 on Friday or before to preregister for a test. Bring a photo ID and $15.00 when taking the test.
A tutor is available on Thursday afternoons from 1:00–3 PM. An Adult Diploma program is available for students over 21 who would like an alternative to the GED.
ACE Introduction for GED Test-takers
Curious about computers and how they work? Come to the Introduction to Computers Workshops that are held every Thursday morning from 10 am to 12 Noon. These fun, informal workshops are a great way to learn something new or to build on skills you already have. Basic word processing, desktop publishing, e-mail and internet use are among the topics covered. Call the library for more information, 626-5475 or to register.
